Nicole Pigeau

Nicole Pigeau is a dedicated educator specializing in Indigenous and land-based education, with over five years of experience teaching in remote First Nations communities. Holding a Specialist (AQ) in Indigenous Education, Nicole has played key roles in launching culturally rich programs, including the Contemporary Indigenous Voices course at Niagara Catholic. Currently a candidate in Queen’s University’s MEd WISE program, she brings a unique blend of cultural knowledge, curriculum development skills, and a commitment to empowering Indigenous learners. Nicole actively participates in the Niagara Indigenous community, engaging in teaching lodges and ceremonies.
