Willowbank is pleased to announce the launch of a major capital campaign, reflecting the expansion of its campus and its programs. The campaign is to raise $1.5 million towards the purchase and refurbishing of the Laura Secord Elementary School, as well as upgrades to the existing Willowbank estate. Some of the immediate investment capital is being provided by RBC Royal Bank, and Willowbank needs to repay these loans and complete the necessary improvements to the two properties. The Laura Secord Elementary School is immediately adjacent to the Willowbank estate, in the heart of the village of Queenston. The property became available a few years ago, with the closure of the elementary school program. It provides a ready-made opportunity for Willowbank to expand and become more sustainable.
