At Willowbank students enjoy the academic rigours of research and debate, as well as the practical experience of hands-on training under renowned masters in the restoration and conservation field. Our faculty associates, more than 50 in number, represent the full range of disciplines in this field.
11 am - 12:30 pm
Presentation: A thorough overview of the program will be given in the Salon at Willowbank.
12:30 - 3 pm
Demonstrations: Blacksmithing, Masonry, Carpentry, Archaeology and draughting.
We traditionally host two Open Houses a year. The Spring Open House is held on the 3rd Saturday in April with the Fall Open House on the 3rd weekend in October.
It is a good opportunity to talk with staff, meet students and faculty, observe workshops, discover why this new program crosses the boundaries between academic programs and apprenticeship guilds. Typically we showcase blacksmithing, masonry, carpentry, archaeology and draughting.
Willowbank is a unique educational institution. We encourage perspective students to tour the facility throughout the academic timetable. We also create opportunities to shadow programs in session to ensure best educational choice for individuals interested in the full-time program.
